The RETA recognize reward the most innovative retailers in their sectors. Rohan Apotheke was awarded for the use of SES-imagotag’s automatic out-of-stock detection and shelf monitoring solution. The solution provides the German retailer with reliable technology to improve shelf availability by providing real-time, capturable and actionable information from in-store shelves.
Using SES-imagotag’s electronic labels, combined with Captana wireless mini-cameras, Rohan Apotheke detects out-of-stocks in real time and identifies anomalies on the shelves. This gives its employees, partners and suppliers access to detailed reports when items are out of stock or when there is a slowdown in sales.
